What values are most important to you?
"Without a clear understanding of your core values, you risk pursuing goals that don’t truly fulfill you."
Your values shape your decisions, actions, and life direction. They influence what truly matters to you and help you set meaningful goals. This exercise will help you gain clarity on your core values.
Step 1: Create a longlist of important values
Do this in a way that works best for you: on paper or on a digital device such as your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Don’t overthink—just let the words flow. The list below is for inspiration, but feel free to add your own.
Step 2: Narrow it down
Review your longlist and select the three to five values that resonate most deeply with you.
These will serve as your guiding principles when making decisions and setting goals.
